Revolut Becomes A Digital Bank. Irish Customers Adjust

Revolut has become a digital bank called Revolut Bank as it obtained a Lithuanian banking license. This means that Revolut Bank would also be able to offer more to customers. However, customers also have to be ready to adapt. So, out with the old Revolut debit cards, and hello, Revolut Bank Debit card.

Apart from this significant change, other changes are more positive. Customers will retain their old account numbers. Also, the fees are still the same, but Revolut Bank will make some changes to the currencies they support for international transfers.

In addition, the bank has introduced a buy now pay later scheme for expenses up to €499 for its Irish customers. Another benefit of its digital bank status is that Revolut Bank covers €100,000 of customer funds
