A few weeks ago, MasterCard launched a new system of payment; the biometric system. To pay, consumers would only need to smile or wave their hands in front of a store camera or phone camera. This means that the system works for both mobile apps and store checkout. This payment method is even more secure than using traditional credit or debit cards.
This payment method is a variation of the Amazon One payment, where shoppers use their palm prints to pay. To achieve this, MasterCard is partnering with PopID, NEC, PaybyFace, Aurus, and Fujitsu.
